Multi-channel Intraluminal Impedance Monitor

Stationary Impedance

Multi-channel Intraluminal Impedance

Multi-channel Intraluminal Impedance (MII) is a new technique available for the evaluation of esophageal bolus transit and reflux similar to barium swallow, but without the exposure to radiation.

Impedance monitoring will have broad applications for gastroenterologists as well as those performing anti-reflux procedures. Impedance monitoring removes the need for assumptions by showing the actual bolus transit.
